Tin Bigha Corridor

Located at Pathgram, Lalmonirhat, Bangladesh

Dahgram-Angorpota is a small Chitmohal (enclave) of BD, which is in India area. Bangladesh and Indian made a bilateral contract in 1974 to use Tin bigha corridor to get this Chitmohal by giving Barubari. By this contract Bangladesh handed over Barubari but India didn’t agree to use this corridor. At last in 1992 on 26th June Bangladesh got the scoop of using this corridor in some conditions. Now it is opened from 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM.

This Indian land divides a small part of Bangladesh into two parts. Over 20,000 of Bangladeshi people live the other side place called Dahagram-Angorpota. These people has to cross this corridor to come to mainland in Bangladesh with the dawn-dusk restriction. This rules is regardless their illness or whatsoever.
